CNY come fast and go fast : (New Year Eve
I did some really last minute additional shopping on New Year Eve. Hit town alone and went in to FourSkin at The Heeren. Tried on one shorts and wth it's so short and skinny which make me feel like i'm wearing a boxer only and my ass feel so tight. LOL. Damn gay sia. Anyway just roaming around and bought what i wanted before leaving for my aunt house for reunion dinner.Dinner was fabolous with abolone and yusheng! Wah damn nice. The yusheng is japanese style with raw salmon and whatever cold and raw things which i do not eat. So i just lao and lao and eat the crackers. hahaha. Head over to my grandfather's side after the dinner for some mingling and gossip session. lol. It happened to be my cousin's birthday so i got free cake as dessert to eat.
Day 1
Woke up rather late cause i'm addicted to Real Estate Tycoon the previous day -.- hahahaha. Wished my parents before we head out to Grandfather's house. Steamboat over there and i had 2 bowls of rice! Shuang! Damn i shouldn't blog at this time, my stomach is growling.
Went over to my aunt house and after smelling my grandma's food, i cant resist again. LOL. We head to some relative house after eating. Quite fun over there cause got some gossips news to listen. hahaha years ago they started business together and somehow got people embezzle the money. Juicy!!
Day 2
Relatives visited our house at around noon time and they are always the only 1 who visited our house each year. LOL. After that, we went to have our lunch before heading out for house visit. Evening time was house visit to Zhi Hui's house and we had steamboat. The steamboat was nice and for a moment i thought i was at Seoul Garden.
I can't help it but got to do a review for this, the meat that we ate at her house was so nice with the black peppery taste not too much but just nice, simply perfect. The soup is the same too, the right amount of ingredient being put and is really heavenly tasty!!! The prawns were juicy and huge and i can see that they value quality very much. Lastly, the service over there was efficient and great too, free flow of drinks and the closing hour also quite late. Highly recommend!! LOL. Anyway thanks for the food and hospitality! : )
I suddenly feel getting a degree after that inspired talk : ( so unbelievable.

Friday
Medical checkup day was a torture. Woke up early and we spent our time looking for that special location. Head down to harbourfront and the people there just love to pull our legs! hahahaha
Stupid Indian guy! Asked him where is bus 193 and he told us opposite at the interchange but we went over and cant find the bus. haha so we went back and CR asked him where is 88 instead to see if he actually know what he is talking. Guess what? He pointed to us and said at HARBOURFRONT INTERCHANGE THERE. LOL CHAO TURTLE! It made the 3 of us laugh till like shit. HAHA. KNS!
1. Finally reached the checkup centre and first stop is to take urine test! Hmm the bottle they gave simply too small la, my urine easily overflow as i had too much urine liao. HAHA. Took blood test too. DAMN PAIN! LOL!
2. Next stop i think is the eye test. Nothing much just like what we had while in secondary school.
3. Hearing test is abit stupid. Must raise your hand when u hear the sound -.-
4. X ray.
5. Dental, the dentist damn lazy -.- check mine less than 10s or maybe mine is too perfect. haha
6. Took height and weight and those wire attached to your body. Felt like professional soccer player undergoing medical before signing sia! HAHA.
7. The damn lame and dumb one. Waited for the IQ test for 1hr before spending another 2hr doing it. Lots of sections and questions sia.
In conclusion, the medical is a waste of time and if you decide to go alone then good luck!
Saturday
Finally had a chance to do some last minute shopping. First we had our Subway as lunch first before walking around. There's not much people at Heeren but at Far East, it's flooded with people.
Spent a couple of hours at Orchard before heading down to City Hall and we went to Crystal Jade for our dinner!
Wait wait and wait.
Finally came!
The food there was nice and the service there was excellent!! Staffs keep greeting and serve us with politness which is so rare nowadays. Anyway food portion was quite big too or maybe my diet grow smaller. haha. we had a great dinner!
And my xiao pang getting rounder and rounder each day! Yeah!

God is fair, there is no ugly people, just lazy people who can look good when they put in the effort. There is no fat people, they can slim down.
There is no stupid people. they can read more.
Morale of the story, anything is possible when you put in the effort : )

Ok this is a quick post.No time!! Rush rush rush. hahaha
Saturday was an eventful day. An entrepreneur forum/talk early in the morning and everything was so dead, people all dozing off or studying their tests. LOL. All changed until the last speaker, who was such a marvelous speaker really.
He told us many things about him that relate to us such as how lousy he was in school and only really started studying in the university. How lousy was the school system in Singapore compared to California. He really got us so into his talk and suddenly all was awake and listening.
Anyway, he's the boss of Thai Express, Hong Kong Xing Wang Cafe, New York New York, Shoduko and some other restaurant that i forgot. Damn his profit per year is 100m! His theory is that it's ok not to be smart but just smart enough to make smart people work for u while u just motivate or encourage them. haha i like!
His Food!
After the talk was town out with Lucas and Noor at orchard area. Buying new year clothes but i don't know why noor also buy. hahaha saw a couple of familiar faces and settled our dinner at Pastamania before Hakim joined us. Went home at around 11pm before going noor house to watch soccer match Bolton vs Man U and stoke city against Chelsea which was so heartbreaking for stoke city la. lol.
Sunday
Which is today was another tiring day. I woke up early in the morning just to realize everybody bluff me and all ended up late for soccer. But the day was still great as we played our heart out. Training in the afternoon was another fun thing. Seeing those familiar faces and the atmosphere of joking moments with everyone was great. hahahaIt's all about passion.

Guess it was just too hectic and i'm down with fever liao : (

I was going to blog about my anger and worries until i saw this man alighting from the bus and walking towards the overhead bridge. My heart sunk in that instance, nothing seem comparable to his.I followed closely behind him as he walked very slowly using his blind stick and up the stairs. I followed him all the way till he finish crossing the bridge and quite safe as he approached his block of flat before walking away.
I can imagine and understand how he's feeling, the agony and sorrow. Try it, close your eyes and walk 10 steps or do something that you are used to do. You can understand how he feel.
Count yourself really lucky to be able to read this.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
It's that time of the year once again and i hope everyone can look back and had no regrets! If u do, just don't live your life with regrets this coming year! I shall come up with a resolution even though most of them didn't actually fulfill last year. haha
2009 Resolution!!
#1 World peace

Ok i was just kidding about the last one.
Yeah so New Year Eve was spent with my long time no see secondary school friends. Quite a last min decision to join them but no regrets. Say real one, it was a fun filled last day of 2008.
Had our dinner together at Hk Cafe before settling down at one of the bar at Esplanade there. Dinner was so full sia yet nobody believe what i said -.- haha we ordered some drinks + finger food while chilling. The coke there was great and i only drank that : ) lol. The guys drank Chivas O.O so fierce. I think i got some problem, i enjoy seeing people get drunk and do funny things. hahaha it's the same with my polymates, i enjoy looking at chia getting drunk and we bullied him by pushing him around and take video of that drunkard. HAHA.
Head over to Tanjong Pagar for drinks but in the end was a failure. End up having apple juice. Ever seen 8 passengers in a normal car before? lol.
And lastly special thanks to Lucas dad who sent us home : )

More good years ahead...
