Hopefully our contract can be extend and from what i have heard, it will because June holiday is coming which means people will go out of the country so they need us to keep Singapore SAFE. What a noble and great job we are doing?! hahahaha.

Anyway i caught the flu and cough bug for the past few days which was horrible to be working in such state but guess the fun and laughter that we had made it easier for me.

"Sorry ah, he first day here." LOL.

Damn funny, our favorite phrase when someone make a mistake. HAHA.

Pay is finally in today, $400 for 2 weeks job. Seems good but we spend most of them on food aldry. LOL. Everyday visit Breadman or Dj Bakery without fail. haha damn the bread there which is so tempting with so many variety and nice.



Anyway head down to Nyp for soccer yesterday after work despite having serious flu and sore throat. The bus journey there was horribly long which causes my bladder almost burst. lol. Had our dinner first before heading to the street soccer court and the food there was nice? I don't know cause i'm having flu but it looks nice. hahahaha New England roast chics with mushroom sauce. Sounds nice too? haha

As we were walking up and down and checking the food there, a couple of malay girls were stealing glances of noor sia. LOL. Guess he's irresistable. haha.

Our team played quite well i think. Bao, lucas, noor, brandon, zal and me. Had a run of a few games before suffering defeat and noor and brandon was full of tricks up their sleeves. Nice, btw brandon is my working colleague at the polyclinic and is also noor's friend. And Bao and lucas kept our goal safe and zal ... i don't know what to say

Hope form is temporary and class is permanent for him. HAHA. LOL.

So basically life's revolving work since 5.5/7 days a week is working. haha working there made me realize customer service comes from u naturally and it's not something that is learn. Look at our nurse noor, i don't think he had learn in school what customer service really is but he can actually serve the patient well and even better than some people who just prefer to doddle and ignore the long queue than serve the patient. It's annoying when u think she just get away with it and get the same pay as us??

My point is it's born within u, your character and attitude determines the customer service level that u re going to provide. Some people just don't have it.


Saturday after work, the guys head out to simpang bedok for lunch while i went separate way to meet xiao pang who is 20mins late! And come out with excuses again. lol. Went to hk cafe for our lunch and wow, cine got not much crowd even at 2pm. lol. Shops were just opening over there. haha and it seemed that the crowd started coming in only at evening time. lol.


Didn't take some of the pictures such as the Curry Ramen which was awesome! The curry was spicy with a tinge of sweetness. Nice.




And we catched Angels & demons which was so brillantly plotted and filmed that i wonder why i pay the same price to watch Horsemen the previous time. Damn it.

I would give this a 4.8/5. Must watch seriously. With such movie plot plus thrilling and suspense scene and a fantastic twist at the end of the movie, what else do you expect. In addition, solving mysteries are my favourite movie plot : )

Do watch!! No regrets.

Anyway, had to find time out for that xiao pang during weekdays and we went to Ikea at Tampines to have our dinner and look for some furniture/decoration/ideas to enhance our bedrooms. haha





Out with xiao pang to town for window shopping and decided to catch a movie at last min but not knowing what to choose, i decided on horsemen which was a pretty bad decision : ( and maybe i should follow her choice "star trek" with so many good reviews. Damn. lol.

That movie was suspense with gore but kind of expected ending and the storyline was'nt that fantastic as well with so many loopholes and i don't really understand some things. Anyway bad movie.

We then had our dinner at Hk Cafe and i strongly recommend the one at Kovan Heartland mall. The staff's service over there was awesome! lol hahahaha.

Yea, second day of work went past quite smoothly except for some patients really trying to be funny. Chao. hahaha but nothing too serious.

My job is basically measure the temperature, ask them questions for their symptoms and record it down. Simple and easy and tell u something, next time go polyclinics, try to go at 11am or 3.30pm cause that's the time when they have the least people in queue and trying to close for either lunch or go home already.

Anyway as i was saying the patients who tried to be funny, one of them said she got cough so i got to give her the mask as precaution and once she knew she got to put on the mask, she immediately said she do not have cough and insisted i made the mistake -.- chao auntie really. lol.

Another one, talked to me like his long lost grandson -.-

Noor also faced one patient who stick out her tongue when he wanted to take her temperature! LOL.

Otherwise, the people there are quite coperative and the staffs there are very helpful and friendly as well, helping us to settle in very fast.

3. Good working environment with friendly staffs and friends there
4. Pay quite good as well
5. Good and cheap food over at Bedok! The chee queh simply one of the best i eaten!


Only downside is got to wake up 5-6am and no pretty girls. ahhaah



The match ended in a 4-2 defeat for us which i think the opponent deserve with their strong pressing and high tempo game. We just got to get use to defending long ball and adjust to the quick tempo. Our first half performance was disaster and was lucky to go in at halftime just 2-1 down. Second half was a much spirited performance from us but we still fail to overturn the defict and lost 4-2 in the end.

Hopefully we can improve our defence as a team together.

Beautiful football fail to win, ugly football prevails. Sian full. Chelsea totally don't deserve it man, they are not playing football.

Anyway was out in town on friday which is yesterday with xiao pang zi. We went orchard for our lunch at subway which is so crowded with people and only then we realise is the $5.90 meal offer which attracted them. As expected service level dropped at such time with limited number of seats and trays -.- The Ice lemon tea there also depleted -.-

We shopped around there till evening time before heading to Vivo for dinner and some window shopping. 1 funny thing happen over there when we were inside Zara and was looking at their shirt when we both agree that piece was quite nice and xiao pang take a look at the inside of the shirt which show "Made in Bangladesh" and she faster dropped the shirt back to the rack. LOL. Racist. hahahaha.

We head to the Japanese Gourmet Place for dinner which was set up by 3 japanese companies selling under 1 roof. A very unique concept.



In the end, the wait make me so famished and the serving is so small. Zzz. The ramen is hot and spicy which is nice and suits my tastebud. hahaha my seafood omelette with noodles tasted not too bad with the seafood that they used are fresh and their sauce is great too but if only with a bigger serving since they make me wait so long.



Having a soccer match tml at Ping Yi Sec and going to work on this monday, hope everything sails smoothly and fast : )
